Scope

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and ambitious sales professional to join one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bovine genetics as a Business Development Manager, covering the north of the UK.

The role would take responsibility of the positioning, launching and promotion of the company’s products and services to internal Genetics Consultants as well as external UK dairy and beef farmers in order to generate market growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and execute market growth opportunities
  • Deliver and implement sales and service growth across the portfolio
  • Provide first class technical advice on the products and services within the portfolio
  • Achieve individual sales/market growth targets
  • Manage and build sustainable genetic consultant relationships
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships and provide excellent customer service
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the industry and market trends
  • Liaise with industry professionals on a regular basis on all new market developments

About You

  • Knowledge of Bovine Genomic Testing and Dairy Industry preferred
  • Experience working within a fast-paced sales and business development environment
  • Self-starter and be able to work independently
  • Motivated and driven to achieve results
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Smart and tidy appearance
  • Full clean driving license
  • Ability to travel both domestic UK and International
