Area Manager



An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a Global Leader in Medical Supplies. As a pioneer in Endoscopy who define progress, our client are looking for an Area Manager to join their highly motivated team. The company is constantly developing and refining rigid and flexible endoscopes and instruments for quick, gentle treatments, and to reduce the burden on the surgeon performing the operation, ensuring treatments can be given at the highest level.


  • Attain financial target
  • Present/promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Establish/develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Record Sales Projects
  • Co-ordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
  • Report to National Sales Manager
  • Analyse Market and plan for growth
  • Supply management with report on customer needs, issues, interests, competitor activities
  • Keep abreast of best practice
  • Continually improve through feedback

About You

  • At least 4 years selling capital equipment into Operating Theatres
  • MIA, or soon after employment attain
  • An ability to identify opportunities and convert these opportunities into sales
  • Communication skills must be demonstrated
  • Daily Routine would be spending time in Operating Theatres with surgeons, visit EBME, Procurement and related departments
