Application Specialist Team Leader

Scope

Consult are in collaboration with $4bn Med Tech company offering products across imaging, surgical and diagnostics. Recognised as a leading innovator in women’s health care they are committed to bringing ground breaking technology to the market that allow healthcare professionals around the world to diagnose and treat their patients with confidence and certitude.

Responsibilities

  • To assist with selling process in laboratories
  • Define growth opportunities
  • Support and develop strong customer relationships by acting as a liaison between the customer and various departments with the company
  • Installation coordination of equipment with Technical Service
  • First line support to customer operations & workflow
  • Provide troubleshooting, assistance and be available for all tech support needs via telephone, fax and computer (e-mail and Internet), and in person
  • Drive application team activities in order to ensure relevant customer follow up (content and frequency), business development into existing customers
  • Maintain customer data base with up to date information on site visits and customer contact information
  • Monitor and report important activities (technical developments, trends within key accounts, seminars, training sessions, etc.) back to the relevant company division

About You

  • Experience in team management, coaching and developing people
  • Scientific background
  • Strongly business development oriented
  • Knowledge in workflow analysis
  • Knowledge in ISO 15189 norm
  • Knowledge of informatics solutions
