Analytical Technician

My client is a successful privately-owned pharmaceutical company who are currently recruiting for an Analytical Technician to join their Contract Manufacturing team.

A medium sized award-winning pharmaceutical manufacturer, they have state of the art facilities and this presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitous, motivated person looking for their next role in the pharmaceutical industry.

• This opportunity is based within the contract manufacturing team where you will be testing in-process samples and finished products. You will join a dedicated team developing new in-house licensed products. You will be using methods such as HPLC, particle size analysis, pH, Wet Chemistry and tests for potency.

• Working to GMP standards, you will be an integral part of the analytical chemistry team for customer projects to successfully meet deadlines.

• Stability testing for concept formulations, Analytical method validation, Process validation batch testing and general housekeeping are just a few examples of what the role will entail.

• It is preferable to have previous experience of working in a Pharmaceutical GMP environment with knowledge of standard operating procedures and documentation.

• Educated to a degree level or higher in a pharmaceutical/scientific related subject (i.e. Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry).

• Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques

• Ability to communicate effectively (written and oral).

• Ability to organise work, support a project manager and meet agreed deadlines.

• Excellent attention to detail

• HPLC operation and troubleshooting.
